No longer worried about my cat and the chickens...LOL

I have a 11 year-old fixed male cat named Angel, he weighs in about 12 lbs.
Today we were working on the coop (again) and I had my 6-6 week old chicks running around.
I went in the house to make some drinks and left the door open, Angel sat in the doorway and was watching my every move. What he should have been doing is watching the chicks coming up behind him. The next thing I know, I hear Angel yowl and hiss at the same time jumping straight up in the air. He then ran in the house so fast he was a blur (he doesn't come in the house normally). The chicks took off in the opposite direction making a fine ruckus (I do believe they were laughing).
Angel peeked around the corner of the frig. to see if it was all clear, then made a mad dash to other side of the fence where he knows it's safe.

Too cute! I had a vicious Siamese cat that would kill rabbits, other cars, and anything else he could take down! My Dark Cornish hen broke him of harassing the chickens, but he got a little too interested in the meaties we got. I grabbed him one morning and tossed him in the brooder when they had run out of food.

He came unwound when 50 lumps started attacking him and never even looked at another baby chick again!

Hahah, too funny. My cat Leo was terrified of my hen, Alejandro. He always used to jump up and bat at her feet when I brought her inside, so knowing my cat to be a terrible coward, I one day just plunked her down on the kitchen floor and said "Fine, wanna play?" Leo got huuuuge eyes and started sinking into the floor, then looked away from the chicken as if hoping it wouldn't see him if he didn't look at it. No such luck! Alejandro walked up and pecked him right on his little pink nose. Cat avoided the chickens like plague after that!
