In my case? About 50, I am now a hard earned 54!

whoo heee! by then the kids will have moved out! only a few more years to go! And by few, I mean three.

Now if my favorite chocolate store will carry milk chocolate covered bacon, I've dieed and went to heaven!

I've tried all those tactics about not drinking caffiene and cutting back meats and sugar, none works for my "girls". Shopping for shoulder bloulder holders is like pulling teeth. Imagine between two cups sizes, one overflows and other one half empty. In short of either some surgery, it is not important enough for me to fill it to the brims!

I love the smell of coffee but despise the taste......its too bitter for me and it would take alot of sugar for me to even like it. Tea is my thing!

I love the traditional Pepsi Throwback, yummy but it is so rare I would have it. Regular Pepsi, well, its good but its too heavy for my taste! Caffeine in it makes me buzzy!

I gave up my the real java over a year ago. I make a pot of Folgers Decaf every morning and I got used to it. Had a headache for 2 weeks and that was it. I sometimes drink a "real" cup around 1 PM if I need to wake-up, but overall, it wasn't too bad and the best part is I don't have to run to pee every 20 minutes when I was on the real coffee!

Germany - I like Eduscho best, but the Jacobs decaf isn't bad either.

I'm not a coffee person -- never have been -- but if I don't have at least some caffeine by around 1pm, I can pretty much count on a splitting headache all afternoon and evening. Drinking a caffeinated soda after the lack-of-caffeine headache has begun will sometimes help, but usually not.. Usually, nothing helps once one's underway.

I have one of those headaches right now, in fact.. Didn't have any change for the vending machine this morning, so I went without caffeine until close to 2pm.. Headache started to arrive at about 1:30.. Drinking a soda now, and have already taken Tylenol.. Headache's duller than it was, but it's still there. It'll hang around all evening, I'm sure.

Joy.

When I wanted to do decaf I started with Maxwell house lite It has 50% less caffeine I didnt get the withdrawals at aLL. Now I find a cup of green tea with lemon much more satisfying then several cups of coffee. I went from a 4-5 pot a day habit to less than a pot substituting the green tea. It makes a great iced tea as well Een my grandchildren are drinking the green ice tea instead of koolaid and soda

I haven't read all the posts, don't have time. But, someone told me about a coffee substitute that they buy that's a blend of chicory and something else. They're from down south, and buy it in a store called Publix? (Not sure, since I don't have them around here.) They were supposed to send me the name, but haven't done so. I cannot have caffeine in coffee or soda. It triggers a medical condition I have. Chocolate and tea don't seem to bother me.

Just a note for anyone else that may not know this. While most brands of root beer have no caffeine, Barq's does. I could not figure out what was causing my condition to flare all summer long-until a friend remembered that Barq's has caffeine. And, I was drinking a can a week.

Day 2. Made the normal amount of coffee, just half decaf. Strangers have asked me how I'm sleeping, say that I look tired.

Compulsively arranged all the teas into a tall cigar box with dividers, displaying decaf on one side, green and black variants on the other side. If I'm still awake in half an hour, I'll take a nap for lunch.

No wonder I liked Barq's Root Beer so much.

This is one of my favorite places for comfortable over-the-shoulder-boulder-holders specifically for difficult-to-fit women and they last forever. The one I'm wearing right this minute I bought over 8 years ago.
