I still have just the one Bantam Ameraucana chick. It hatched on Day 20. Today is Day 22 and no movement. Temps and humidity have been good, no drastic changes. I don't understand why the others have not hatched. I candled at Day 14, they looked good, kept my hands off the bator except to add water. This has been very frustrating!

I plan to keep them going one more day. Hopefully, somthing will happen. If not, that will be a very lonely baby for a while.

OK, I got up this morning ,day 22, and had a pip. Now I have 3. Come one chickies.

Well I have got my

for you! Hopefully something will happen today, when I had somebody hatch some eggs for me I am pretty sure he came late afternoon, Day 22, so don't loose hope.

We had a power outage 2 wks ago and the temps were down for about 4 hours before we woke up and fired up the bator. I was half expecting a late hatch. I was still hoping for some sign before day 22 though.

My annoying nephew was over yesterday and looking at the eggs and asking his normal 101 questions. Asked when they were supposed to hatch. And made the comment "So they aren't going to hatch".

I told him that yes they were going to hatch today. And hopefully they will.

Thanks for the well wishes! Hope to have some chickies this afternoon! Keep me posted on how things are going. I have to go to work and will check in tonight.

I just had another hatch. Now there are 5. But nothing is happening with any of the other eggs. I'll just have to wait and see.
