No one likes bantam eggs?

You just have to keep trying until you find the right customers. I've got one woman who goes nuts for those little "baby" eggs and has offered on more than one occasion to pay EXTRA for them because I told her that they are the ones I usually use for my own family. Some other people like them and ask for them but would never pay full price for less food. It just takes connecting with the people who want what you've got!

I have 6 Barred Rock bantams, 4 Australorps and 2 EE's. I get the best bantam eggs. I prefer the BRB eggs. They seem to have more Yolk to White Ratio. We get 8 to 10 eggs a day. We give our big eggs away to our parents, sisters and friend. We always keep the Bantam eggs for ourselves. Yea you need two instead of one but who cares when you have it.

It's all in the marketing

I ask my customers if they would like to try our specialty "peewee" eggs from rare and exotic asian and turkish hens (I have silkies and sultans), I tell them these eggs cannot ever be found in grocery stores and they are perfect for children, or a light snack, for diets, etc.

I maintain an email list for egg deliveries so I include pics of the girls and you'd be amazed: most people do request to have a few peewee eggs mixed in with their regular dozen, some even want ONLY peewee eggs - they're a favorite with kids!
