No roost in my coop.

My hens & roo sleep in nests on the bottom of their coop. No roosts, they don't use roosts. The roo will dig into the hay & build a fresh nest daily. They all huddle together, side by side(kinda like a pak of puppies) Do you think this roostlessness could be the reason my chickens & roo are so bratty about going inside at the end of the day?

I don't know that a roost would lure them into the coop any better at the end of the day, but it'd probably keep their hiney feathers cleaner...
