No-shelled egg and tiny egg in one day--ok to eat?

I had a thin shelled egg that the girls had already broke. I scooped it out and threw it in the yard. Two seconds later those little beasties had devoured it! The dog was jealous. My girls have had crushed microwaved egg shells and the cooked yolks and the occasional raw egg. They haven't turned into egg scavengers yet
