I completely agree with this post, and to each his own, but not at mine or my families expense. I should never have to encounter smoke unless I choose to. I can't breath and my child is prone to asthma, we have the right to be as healthy as possible if we choose.

As far as I know she's a Navy Brat and her mother was in middle of transfer, she DID press charges and I did do a sworn deposition.

Instead of complaining, why don't you save a smoker? Anytime you see a smoker, why don't you give them this address? e-cigarette-forum.com

I smoked for 35 years, a pack a day, and quit without any pain or withdrawel using this method. It's been 9 months now. Hundreds of thousands of people have quit or cut down with an e-cigarette. I do not sell these. I am a board member of CASAA.org. Consumer advocated for smoke-free alternatives association. My duty in life is to educate people on a method I truly believe in, show people that there is something that works out there. If you know a smoker, or encounter one in a doorway, just give him or her this website, e-cigarette-forum.com and help them learn a "reduced harm method".

I do not sell these. I educate smokers and non-smokers.

just wanted to add that Michigan legislation passed banning smoking in all public places starting in may. No more bars, resturants etc. There are exceptions.. Cigar Bars, Casino's and of course in your automobile.

Nebraska just banned smoking in bars and such - but e-cigs welcome around my neck of the woods.

WHat I dont get is that 10-15 years ago this wasnt an issue ... When I was growing up people smoked in the grocery store there where ashtrays hooked to the shelves.. You could smoke anywhere and people didnt make this huge deal out of it.. I just find it odd that it didnt bother people 10-15 years ago and now thats all we hear... Now rtalking about being able to Breathe Safely my youngest has asthma and LOTS of smells set him off.. I dont expect others to not where perfume or scented shampoos or fabric softener because my child has issues with it .., I have smoked since I was 10 years old not proud of it , have tried more times then I can count and more products to quit then I care to remember...

I'm an RN and I've gotten 10 other nurses using e-cigarettes and quitting. What's an e-cig? It's a battery run atomizer that vaporizes propylene glycol and water and flavor and a chosen amount of nicotine into a steam that resembles smoke. It is not burning tobacco. Propylene glycol is a food additive, amongst other things, such as shampoo, hand creme, conditioner, etc. Hospitals use it in respiratory treatments. It was also added to antifreeze to make it less toxic to animals.

Merryland banned smoking in bars almost two years ago, bars claimed it would kill business, but they all seem to be doing well.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_smoking_bans_in_the_United_States :

Maryland
Statewide smoking ban: On February 1, 2008, the Maryland Clean Indoor Air Act of 2007 went into effect, banning smoking in all public transportation vehicles, enclosed public places, and enclosed wokplaces, including bars, restaurants, and private clubs.[105] The Act exempts private residences and vehicles while not being used as a childcare or healthcare facility, designated hotel/motel smoking rooms, retail tobacco stores, other tobacco-related workplaces such as importers and distributors, facilities where smoking research is conducted, psychiatric facilities, long-term care facilities, hospitals where a doctor has authorized a patient to smoke, and any business that has applied for and received a waiver allowing smoking (though all waivers expire on January 1, 2011).[105] Local governments may regulate smoking more strictly than the state, though not less stricly.[105]

It took me a little while to finally let go the cigarettes, I used both an e-cig and regular cigarettes for a couple of months, when I was down to 2-4 cigarettes a day I gave them up totally. TO me it wasn't an instant switch like many others have been able to do - I was very attached to my 24 year old addiction.
It also took some time to find an e-cig that I could use easily and was as good a feeling (the draw etc) as a real cigarette.
I tried about 3 different ones, and setted on the DSE901 for months and months, I now just bought a new one, and am seeing how it works. (its a big daddy of an e-cig, the Xhale)

As of today I haven't smoked for 7 months, 2 weeks and 12 hours!
