I have come across this information here recently, and I have always set the turner on day one, as soon as I turner the bator on. Has anyone else heard about not starting the turner until day 3? I am setting eggs in the morning and would love to know!!!

I just did that for the first time. They had bad air cells and there is a web site that says to put them in an egg carton and don't turn for a week. Seems to be working.

I've been hatching for a long time and just came across this information. Interesting.

Where in SoCal are you? I am in the high desert in Hesperia.

I'm in Valley Center. Just north of San Diego and inland. Someone posted a link. I've had horrible luck with shipped eggs this year so far.
