If you post again in a thread then you need to un-watch it again.

I assume that's only when "Automatically watch content you interact with…" is on in your preferences? I might have to get into the habit of pressing watch on threads instead of turning that on.

This is a little weird, but this was the best thread I could find for it. If you start a conversation with a member, like, is it private? Can others see it? I’m just a little confused.

Only you and the member or members in the convo can view the message. Not even the Staff can see Conversations, they are indeed, Private.
