"Nogg" chicken house-RIDICULOUS!

Since it has a lid, I say make it into a composter. I bet the heat in that thing, and the shape, would tend well towards composting.

There is a large hatch at the back of the nogg allowing ample access for cleaning and collection of eggs, internally it has fitted rubber mats which are easily removable for cleaning, the ventilation is provided by the automatically opening top (300cm2 opening) and 2 to 3mm gap around all access panels. This is our prototype which we are gearing up for small scale production. However we are in contact with the British Hen Welfare Trust to ensure the priority is with the welfare of the hens over that of the aesthetic. This is only an alternative design for people requiring a chicken coop for a maximum of 4 chickens, ideally 2 to 3. Not for factory farming... this is also only a coop for roosting and keeping your hens secure at night, NOT to keep them in permanently... I feel strongly that people are talking about a product they have never seen. If you would like images of the back please let me know and I will happily send you some.

I does look quite cool!!
What I did laugh at was the people underneath going on about how dirty it is to have chickens in your back garden and they will make you ill!!
Better not tell them then that my chooks come into the house when i leave the back door open

More pictures is always a plus, Nogg! And please describe the dimensions. I'm having trouble figuring out the scale from those pictures.

I would like to see pictures of the inside, before making a judgment. The outside design is aesthetically pleasing, but it has to be functional above all else. Could be a nice little coop for a broody hen, if the inside is set up properly.

Well I just think it's adorable! It would work great for 2 chickens (I wouldn't put anymore than that personally)

Thank you for posting the link to more pictures of it jmagill. I was wondering what the inside looked like.
