Noisy calls

Yep our girls attracted a group of wild mallards to the property this year. The boys are cute and quiet though. We have a group of non breeder call drakes (this years hatches) we posted about awhile ago. Anyone willing to pay shipping and for the box we will gladly send 2-4 to you as pets. The extra girls we had and made the same offer on were snatched up within 1 hour. A flock of boys use to each other would be good pets indeed and quiet enough for the backyard setting.

i thought it was a great plan myself, althought they did not need me to tell them to be loud! Ive reached my limit, no more calls, no more calls !! say...lets see some of yours!

I LOVE the noise(s) they make!

When I went to go pick up my call ducks from the seller he had at least 50-60 call ducks! Maybe even more!
The females were actually quiet for most of the time, but they did get pretty noisy a couple times where you couldn't hear anything!
I loved it! Wish I had brought my camera!

Oh yeah they are super loud, if you just wanted a few males it wouldn’t be a problem, but the females are crazy noisy lol My closest neighbor is a mile away so I don’t have to worry about noise issues though. Thank goodness b/c now that I have two females they yell all the time and never seem to stop talking about one thing or another. I myself love the lil chatter boxes; it is so cute and very funny when I walk into their pen and the two girls start to yell at me about something, like they are telling me all about their day, and when the lil drake stands in the middle of his girls, it is like he is saying "Yes honey, alright honey, anything you say honey!" lol so cute you have to be there.

Here is a close up of Millie, she is the one that always starts the yelling and gets Angel to join in

Here is a close up of Angel; she has a very low pitch voice not like Millie’s high pitch one, Angel is older so maybe that has something to do with it
