noisy girl

one of my hens 3 months old tonight is running all over the place clucking very loudly wonder if she is going crazy.

My chicken (5 months old) did this the other day. I thought she was spooked or upset about something. She ran out the coop, flew down the ladder, ran right out of the run and straight across our yard hooping and hollering (loudly) the whole time. I thought she was going crazy too. All of a sudden she stops running, stops yelling, an egg falls out of her backside and then silence!! And wouldn't you know she carried on like nothing ever happened.
We figured all of the noise was from discomfort from the egg.....This was one of her first eggs.
