Non egg-laying chickens?

Does anyone know of chickens that do not lay eggs?

We live in AZ, so they have to be able to put up with the AZ heat. I plan to have a coop, but let them out for a large portion of the day to help keep down insects, etc that you have when you have horses. I just don't want them laying eggs all over the property, so something that either doesn't lay eggs and/or something that doesn't lay very many would be great.

Any suggestions?

if you put in some nesting boxes there shouldnt be eggs everywhere. plus then you can eat them and they are much better than storebought eggs

You could do a "bachelor" set up, but there will be fighting.
