Awkward in the shade
Struggling, fuel on my hands
1st world problems here

A gearheaded g33k
Cell tower won’t let me call
Text is all I got

Finally reached one
After an hour had past
… any minute now…

Too nasty here to
work outside. Too much smoke from
fires "Up North." Scary!

Once we got it home
Chilled in the shade for a bit;
the fuel pump had died

Dear Daughter did help
troubleshooting 101
says She ‘wants a truck’



to which I replied
Fine, then learn all You can here
and we’ll plan for Yours…..



(Realistically speaking 261,400 range from original fuel pump? And the last 5+\- years it was “turned up a wee bit” too. And the fuel pressure gauge showed Her that the pump indeed had failed even though when we put test power to it “it felt like it was spinning” but, didn’t produce the same wheeerrrring sound the new pump did.)
