Non toxic mouse/rat poison

I have read of a poultry safe mouse poison. I cannot seem to find the "recipe". It had baking soda in it maybe! Help! I have to find it!

I had a HUGE rat problem and tried a sheet rock 45 with chicken food. The rats ate.....and ate.....and ate.....and ate it down to the powder every night. I put in about 6 cups of sheet rock with about 6 cups food.....and NO dead rats.....and they kept multiplying like wild fire. I finally had to just go at them with regular rat bait. Dead rats everywhere!! I tried rat traps......to no avail. When I went up to the chicken pen.....I had at least 30 rats running from my feeders to get back into the walls. So I assume I had way more than what I seen. It took 2 weeks to clean up all of them......but.....I did conquer.
