Noob from TN :)

Hi all,
I've always thought it would be quite rewarding to raise chickens for fresh eggs. Recently, we had a hen just show up on our property. No idea where she came from. None of the surrounding neighbors have chickens. Anyhow, having her around has prompted me to look into what it would take to give her a nice "official" home along with some others. I have tons of questions and this looks like a great site for some answers!

Looking forward to getting to know everyone and learning more!
