Welcome Sorry you lost your chooks, weasels are the predator around here that worries me most. Haven’t lost a bird to weasels or mink but I know they are around and I have seen them trying to get in the coop and run. Nice to have you here, hope you have more luck with predator proofing for your future flock

I am a huge fan of Barred Rock pullets, so in my honest opinion, you can't go wrong with those in your flock. I also have 2 SLWyandotte's and they're beautiful and have proven to be good layers.
