I just started getting back into chick season. I put some of my own eggs in the incubator, but one egg has seemed to have its airsack on the side. Would this be normal or life threatening for the chick?

I've had some like that, that hatched out just fine. That one isn't too bad. What day are they on? Hopefully the air cell will start receding on the big end of the egg, in the other direction, as incubation progresses.

Hi
I have eggs that have 2 air cells, and it's a chick alive inside. I hope they will hatch, I tell you ;)

Jajajjaja, When I was posting yesterday, it hatched!! It's a very nice chick
