Normal for BEI to hatch silverish?

Did you buy these eggs or are they from your ducks? just thinking maybe some other breed got mixed in, but that is a gorgeous color.

Bought them, I asked the gal i bought them from (sent her some photos) and she said it looks like a Blue Swedish snuck in lol. Well, they made a purrrrrty duck! But if it was a blue swedish, they are noticeably smaller than the BEI! strange eh? She's stumped too. haha

I'm new to bei', but we've had them about a year, hatched out around 50 this year. All of ours were solid black except a couple that had a tiny bit of white on the breast.

Sure is pretty though.

I've never had any silverish BEI hatch before. They're pretty black (some have yellow on the breast feathers). Probably a mix. But what a pretty color! I'd be curious to see what they grow up to look like.
