Normal or not?

My Danish Suabians have been hatching chicks all winter. It amazes me how warm they can keep their eggs and babies when it is -25F outside...

It must be the need to breed. To keep the blood alive. They are very amazing birds.

mine breed most and best in winter, and have stopped feeding even when sudden heat wave comes through. my pigeons in general even always did better in cold climate of WI. and never had any at all sick, as opposed to all the crap that temp makes them sick in TN. course only had homers up north, and homers here never got sick like rollers have.
