North Carolina

Hey you know me Colie - Jessy :) but I'm about 2.5-3 miles away.

Check on the FB silkie group, there are quite a few breeders/showers in central to western part of the state with silkies. Sandy T. of Bat Cave, Connie Barnette, Tena Hough, Tina Cline, the Plummers, Gavin and Allison just got started with showing silkies and are fellow hatch-a-holics. HenTymes has silkies but I don't think she shows her silkies, but she shows her Orps (which by the way are AWESOME! :) )

GavinandAllison just hatched some silkies, and has more in the incubator...Bat Cave Silkies might also

GavinandAllison Pm'ed me earlier ::fingers crossed:: and duuhhh I just connected Bat Cave with Bat Cave NC. haha I'm bright, I tell ya what!!
I'll PM her :) Thanks for the suggestion. I'm digging not being stuck in the desert anymore and actually being semi close by to some other poultry fanciers

Hey ya Jessy! Good call with the FB silkie group, I'll pop in there next and ask who has stock available. 2.5-3 hours away isn't bad considering where I just came from. Closest to me used to be Suze of Sonoran Silkies and she was about 7-8 hours away!
This is me right now ~~~>

I've got silkies! what are you looking for?

I have a couple of silkies right now, they are black and most likely split to lavender, approx 4 weeks old and thinking it's a pair but can't be 100% sure.

To answer scared's question, we have just gotten into showing the silkies. DD is showing them in Jr., she took BV with her gray pullet at Smithfield over an older gray hen!

She plans to show her lav when ready and hopefully a couple of other colors this year.
