It is a good thing that my husband will be headed out of town for work for a while! Why, you ask???????? Well , I had to work last weekend, it was bad enough that we couldn't go to the Wicked Chicken, but..............when I got home, he had gotten 2 new Co chins. They are beautiful, one is blue and the other is a Teri-color! I was off for 3 days, then back at it today. And, low and behold, he bought more chickens!! 1 Black Jersey Giant hen, 3 Cochin hens!!! Either I am going to quit work or he has to get out of town!! ( he does contract work and is gone for a month or so at a time ) While he is gone, I will not only be working 3 12 hr shifts and caring for '..............1 golden retriever, 9 cats, 2 goats, and 22 chickens!!!!! LIL!!

LIL.....can sure understand that dilemma. Good luck

Yes, we do have some beautiful birds! I will just get up a little earlier so I can check on all 4 coops, and let everyone out for the day ! We built automatic feeders and water devices, so that makes it much easier. We do have 5 chickes in the house, but at least I don't have to put them in and out of coop!! All in all, I love all my animals too much for them to be too much trouble!! Can't imagine life without them!!

Looks like it is going to be a BYC get together at the Wicken Chicken tomorrow.
