Wicked Chicken Auction
5368 Wilsons Mills Rd Clayton, NC 27520.. At Calamity Janes Store, you will see all the cars.
Auction starts at 2PM. You can go as early as 10am to check in, no later then 1-1:30pm to check in.

I will be there between 11-12. I have 4 kids with me ages 9-13. And will be wearing a red coat.

Never been to the Wicked Chicken. its in Clayton right? Never been there, will have to mapquest the addy and see how to get there...If I can pull it off I will go and bring your EE's Coop Scoop. LOL

What time do you have to be there if you have something to put up? I have a few extra boys I need to get rid of. LOL

If I remember right.......auction starts at 2 pm........articles for sale should be signed in by 1 pm and whatever you bring it in is sold with it.....such as whatever cage or box you bring a chicken in, it is sold with the bird so bring what you don't want to keep. They will sell you wooden friut crates for $1 each if you like or you can use cardboard boxes but they must have holes for air and so the people can see the bird. You can start registering at 11 am I think but it may be as early as 10 am. Everything sells unless the seller says " no sale". The earlier you get registered in the closer to the front you are and the better the chance for a good price sooooo...........

It will be fun to see everyone and I sure hope lots can come. Thanks SoS if you do get to come

If you are selling you should get there as early as possible. People start thinning out after the first 100 boxes or so.

My chickens won't touch the stuff. The ducks on the other hand love it. I do not buy it for them, I had a bag that got ants in it over the summer and thought the chickens would eat it.



p.s. Bre was in the pen & picked up Diablo...no problems.

The ways things are looking I'm going to have a few things to do tomorrow and won't be able to make it

However I will definitely have to make it one day.

All I have to sale/get rid of is a couple of young bantam mutt cockerels ( 2 mille fleur d'uccle X white sultan I think) and a silkie X OEGB (blue) )

a dom white silkie cockerel (out of a paint pen) and a pet blue partridgey type silkie (think its a cockerel but unsure)

thinking on getting rid of the blue silkie teenager that I don't know what sex it is and possibly may be getting rid of a young red partridge cockerel
also on the fence about 2 production red hens that are now essentially mine, they don't go back home to the neighbor's anymore. LOL

catfood should only be used as a treat, a small handful at most to a single chicken in a day.

Well she free roams when I am home and she runs over to the outside cat food bowl and fills up

aint even sure if she is eating the chicken food. Figures on Diablo, but glad everyones happy.

I just seen an ebay egg hatching for sale page that said the post office is suppose to confiscate any eggs that aren't labeled npip. Have any of you heard this before?
