Quick question for everyone... what do you all do with the extra eggs you get? I currently have 5 dozen eggs in my fridge and I can't seem to GIVE them away, can't use them fast enough and can't think of what else to do with them. Anyone need some eggs for something?? Target practice even??

I'm sure they are all fertile (although I can't say whether or not they are viable, as I don't know how that aspect works

If I don't come up with something...I am going to start making my chickens scrambled eggs for breakfast!!

Not bad, right?? I just don't know what to do with all that I have. LOL I am sure once they start to molt, I will be once again complaining that I am not getting any eggs, but such is the chicken life!! hehe.

NH..... bring them to Church or Scramble them up... I should have grabbed up the ones in the coop yesterday.

Ahhh..I have seen you at the WCA. I actually was certain you were brother/sister-you really favor each other!

Bhep-are you bringing runners to the auction Sunday? Do you know which ones?

well if you are going to wicked chicken this sunday bring any fertal eggs you got, and ill buy them! are you the person who usually sells the fleur d'uccle chickens there?

Did you have any luck with the emu eggs? in ohio my dad purchased about 20 young month or 2 emus for 10 bucks a piece.

im really interested in peafowl eggs if your guys are laying, if you got any eggs for anything laying around, id be happy to buy or hatch them for you for like 1/3 rd of the bitties.

ive got a jamesway 2940 incubator that currently has no eggs in it (it holds 2500-2900 eggs and can hold up to emu size maybe ostrich size i believe) and 4 of the little giant incubators ( 42 egg styrofoam incubator's with auto turners) and 1 with no egg turner we use as a brooder/hatcher when they are close to hatching.

anyways, this is a all call, if you go to the wicked chicken auction, bring in your fertile chicken eggs!!! any kids, or peafowl, or quail! just about any egg!

this is a pic of me and the wife! So you know who to look for, we are coming THIS sunday! She has short hair now! and we are normally working the auction behind the line!

:P

Im locked in a concrete room with now windows in an air force base...

I wouldnt know how nice a day it is, i cant wait to get out of work.

Not true. As long as they don't freeze they are viable. I set Maran eggs a few years ago that a friend had in her fridge for over a week. That was the very first 100% hatch I ever had. I have also set refridgerated turkey eggs and they did well too. I know a few that have set brown eggs from stores where they advertise 'freerange eggs' and had some hatch.
