Good Afternoon! We're being lazy today. Nothing better than snuggling up on a grey day!

Want to be outside today picking up after the the tree butchers(Power company) I am now the proud owner of an L-shaped Cedar Tree. They picked up the branches that fell out of the tree, but their were a lot that they didn't pull out of the tree and they have blown out and all over the lawn. Oh well, its a curl up on the couch with a good book and sip tea of a day.

What a bummer day huh? We were supposed to goto a Dr. Seuss Bday celebration for the kids at 2. I don't think its on anymore... Awww.

So busting out the finger paints for kiddo and we're going to make a welcome sign! My MIL is going to be flying in tonight at 7pm. So if you notice I'm not around much this week, that is why! On the nicer days I'm hoping she'll help with the garden. I'm so evil! hahaha

I have those 4 BCM eggs under the broody silkie and fingers crossed for a couple of chicks on 3/14! Wish us luck! Between now and then, I am going to TRY to control the need to buy chicks.

You are close to me then. I'm about 5 minutes from the Rowan county line. We live at the edgeof Davidson county. What breeds of chickens do you have? Do you have any other farm animals?
