I built all my own, some turn out decent and others turn out terrible(notice I didn't say GOOD 'cuz nothing ever turns out that way)
I come looking for support from all yall, and it's been more helpful than I can thank!!!!
guess I'm gonna start packing and see what happens with the situation.

P.S. I found a secret "nesting" spot where my broody BO has been stealing eggs and sitting on them! weird thing is I have no roo's and none of the eggs are fertile?!?!?!

Shhhhhh....don't tell her she needs a man!

Seriously, the hen doesn't know. She just knows she's got eggs.

it's bringing me closer to my goal of being self sufficient but taking me away from technology

yet one learns more about themselves when "wires" are not present?!

yet someone paid my phone to "keep in touch" with me.......my reply was "I'm a young man on a journey to better myself and the people I'm involved with"
and what's a journey without speedbumps and u-turns? be back soon!

Yeah it is a little snug. I will be housing six, but want to make it for up to 10. So if DH does build I asked if he would make the actually coop little larger is I could have 3 nesting boxes and the run a little longer.

6? now wait you need to learn chicken math, you start out with 6 but you may end up with 20 or more, so you better think some on size. ask BHep if you don't believe me.

, I don't like to toot my own horn but I'm only 24 and have invested more time in work and "hobbies" than anyone else my age!

I'm just scratching the surface on what I'm capable of and appreciate everyones help and support

I tried to find it , but not sure where to look, but would love to see. Just trying to pull ideas together and getting it just perfect,but really trying to be practical and not going overboard is hard. My DH says "they are chickens... they dont care" . He is going to do it for me, just dont want to spend a fortune. I found a great one on craigslist in Raleigh, but DH looked at it and does not think he would be able to disassemle it to bring it back.
