Good morning all!

I need to get my butt in gear today and sanitize all the indoor brooder now that my 3-5 weekers have gone out into the big outdoor brooder.

I have a couple dark brahma and EE eggs and silkies of different colors set to hatch thursday I think theres 28 eggs.
Just set 9 Giant Cochins, 3 EEs, 22 BBS silkies and showgirl eggs for the Easter hatch along.

Thought about going to WCA but I don't need to buy anything and so decided its best I don't go because I KNOW I will come home with something if I went. LOL

Hope anyone who is going has a great day and shares pictures of your new purchases!

Hubby and I have been doing some clean up and clean out. One of the things we have decided needs to go is an eight foot wide round stock tank, about two feet high. The edge is broken. We originally picked it up to raise fish or crayfish in but then I got sick, so it's just been sitting back behind the workshop. I considered cutting it shorter and covering the cut edge with a split hose, to make it the right height for the sheep, but we have enough watering system stuff for the sheep. Then I thought that if someone had an outbuilding or lean-to to put it under, they could turn it into a large brooder. So I talked it over with hubby, and we decided to mention it here before I put it on Craig's List. I don't want to put it on the swap page, because I for sure can't ship it! But if someone wants it, we'll take a swap of hatching eggs of any LF breed, or make some other swap offer. I got it here upside down across the back of a regular full-sized pickup bed, all the way from Georgia, so it can travel on a truck. You are welcome to come look at it. I need to hunt down the plug. I put it in the "safe place".

At any rate, PM me if interested.

edited to add....with ladders in and out, it might make a happy place for waterfowl, too.
