Ok.... trying out a new color on my front door. Did it a couple of weeks ago, and now my garden is coming back to life and filling in, its growing on me! Whatcha think???

I think that anger was directed at me, I moved her off the nest so I could get the picture. She is being a good mama so far.

I figured she was likely ticked off at you. That look is priceless though. I had to laugh at it!

Nice set up!

Wanted to show you my small brooder set up, I like to keep a few like this. The bulb is a 75 watt night glow reptile bulb from the pet store, sometimes I use the 75 watt red day glow (but it is more $$, not sure why??), and no one panic, there are lots of holes on the lid and sides, the pic only shows the front holes. I am paranoid myself about heat lamps and won't use a bulb over 100 watts at all in the house, LOL, for anything.

It was my best egg day EVER! I got 8... I am so thrilled! Only 8 hens are of laying age and NOT broody! LOL'
