Those who have crossbeak chickens.. How do you keep it under control? I have a thread up but I guess I'm impatient lol. I have a young (maybe 7 weeks at the oldest) Frizzle that is starting to get a cross beak on top and I just want to nip it in the bud if I can... He's such a gorgeous baby and I'd hate for him to have a major problem like that.
Pedi paw works great for trimming and shaping. Keep deep food and water dishes. Theres no stopping it or fixing it, it will twist as far as its gonna than stop (takes a while) Dont think they have come up with a reason why it happens yet. The chick will be smaller and thinner than others of its breed and be slower to mature. It might also develope ear problems as Peepers has done. But they make some of the best pet chickens! And can live a full happy live as Peepers is 4 or 5 yrs old. Heres a pic of one of mine (Peepers) will have to get one of Ditto tomorrow.

last year and a close up of him the other day, the thing over his eye is part of a tiny flower from some bushes
