I spent this morning rearranging babies. I have far too many babies. How does this happen? The bantam chicks really need to go. Really. What was I thinking when I put those eggs in the incubator?

I DID OK all of the eggs sent off to Beth for her to do her magics on ya-know, I don't have all that much right to complain about the outcome!

I just NEVER thought that I would end up with this many chicks, WHAT WAS I THINKING

Good Morning Everyone! Lovely day so far. The chooks are happy, the turkey poults are growing, the sheep are fine, my Boys are awaiting their breakfast...and so is hubby. Life is good.

This is where the puppy, Reilly, heads just about every time he's outside. We're going through a lot of towels! Smart puppy!

Good morning everyone hope you all are having a wonderful weekend and staying cool.

Funny story- about 3 weeks ago I got 4 guineas, 2 whites, 1 lavender, and 1 pearl gray. They are almost fully feathered and have powerful wings! Now, in my room I have ceiling fan, which is on most of the time, but last night I cut it off and turned my floor fan on. This morning I awoke to loud alert chirps and poop and the floor! I looked up to find all 4 guineas roosting on my fan! I reached up and put them back in the brooder one by one, and went to get breakfast, when I came all 4 were up there again!
