I have 2 beautiful and oh so sweet Buff Orpington roosters that are 9 weeks old and need a new home. I want to get a rooster that is not related to my girls. I also want a Marans pullet to add to my mix. Any suggestions?

I think you are too far from me, do you have a swop, or.... auction near you.I have 2 beautiful and oh so sweet Buff Orpington roosters that are 9 weeks old and need a new home. I want to get a rooster that is not related to my girls. I also want a Marans pullet to add to my mix. Any suggestions?
That is similar to what we do in the winter. All feeders & waterers are filled at night, and then passed out in the morning. It takes much less time to open coops, and set a bucket down ready to got for each run.Good Morning, Everyone!
Hi-ho, hi-ho, it's off to work I go. I'm adjusting to filling feeders and waterers in the evening, so all I have to do in the morning is open doors and throw scratch for them to find. I told the sheep this morning that they are going to start getting fed in the evenings, too. That'll give me...what? Five more minutes of sleep?!
Have a great day everyone!
BOOOO I dislike cats very much.....I'm guessing water traps is the way to go, that and night stalking with the .22NH .... I was just going to suggest Rats !! YES they eat eggs, a snake may eat 1-3 eggs, but not all. If not rats then Opossum. OR worse....an egg eater (chicken)![]()
Luke... CATS !
