Also, to the Goldsboro peeps:
I went to Goldsboro City's Department of Planning & Community Development office today, and I spoke with Sally Johnson (Administrative Assistant) on the subject of Urban Gardening... AKA (Chickens in the city & the ordinance). It is still not a ordnance, nor is it at a proposal state as of yet. When the "up coming in September" was looked at.... This is not in the talks for Sept either. She said that it could go before, in October, but not certain. When she gave me the copy of the draft, a little while ago now.... she said to let people know to call their 1 of 6 council members and tell them what the individual citizens want so that the actual proposal will reflect our ideas, and desires as a whole. She also said that if chicken enthusiast could not find who their council representative is to call her and she would give the info. She is a patron of the Local Farmer's Markets in Goldsboro. I do believe that she wants this passed as much as we do, but people must use their voices. I am not in the city limits, however I sympathize.

I had a run in with Animal control today, seems my little cat went into heat yesterday (she had supposedly been spayed) and has been tempting my neighbors cat in to loong walks in the forest. So my neighbor called animal control and said “her cat is trying to steal my cat.” animal control officer and I had a good laugh and now my cat is in an extra coop in the barn. no kittens please

I think I have one like that across the street from me; good thing we put our home many hundred feet OFF the road!

She can't see me... nah.. nahh.... Too funny! Now her cat is going to defect! tee.... heee...hee... You will prob find it in your yard in the morning. I'm surprised that Animal control did not tell her that if she kept her cat in....

It was good laugh her cat is almost totally feral and he won't come anywhere near my barn because he is terrified of the goat. Animal control officer and I have become good friends, which is great for me, because my neighbor seems to believe that since I'm poor and have a run down barn that I shouldn't have livestock. WHATEVER
