Good morning folks

It is not only cold but this morning it is raining
but we need the rain so I am not going to
fuss about it.......better it rains today than
on the weekend when I need to be able
get things done outside

stay dry and have fun today

Well we are finally getting some rain started abt hour ago-

Have a ?? Has anybody had a hen make distress sound at nite. Last nite abt 10:30 had one making awful racket when i went out there she quit abt 30 min later she started agn sounded just like when I had coon problems couple years ago. Funny thing no rooster made a sound b4 the rooster always went crazy too. I looked over every thing out there never found a thing all birds o.k. I have a baby monitor outside never heard anything but the hen. Never really knew which hen it was cuz when i went outside she would quit.????

Off to torture the youth of America with exams.

I was getting emails into the wee hours of the night, to greet me this morning. Do they really think I'm staying up that late?

I did get my brace fixed yesterday without them having to send it off. They cannibilized something they had there to get a replacement part, and it works! Yay!

Chickies are growing and looking good!

Good Morning, Everyone! Welcome to the new folks!

Off to torture the youth of America with exams.

I was getting emails into the wee hours of the night, to greet me this morning. Do they really think I'm staying up that late?

I did get my brace fixed yesterday without them having to send it off. They cannibilized something they had there to get a replacement part, and it works! Yay!

Chickies are growing and looking good!

<sigh> How I miss those days!! The best part about being a teacher...handing out the exams and watching them sweat!! My favorite was to make an exam where every answer was "C" just to watch the panic look on their face when they start to notice it and wonder if they are wrong or not.

Good times!! (Hey, we teachers need a bit of fun here and there...and I NEVER did it on a major exam - like a midterm or final). Have a great day!! Glad to hear they were able to fix your brace!!

I know some of you really like this weather we're having, but I'm ready for spring already. I am tired of being cold!! I moved south so I wouldn't have to be cold anymore (okay not true, it was because of DH's job, but that was suppose to be a bonus). Some days I think I am resembling the baby brother in "A Christmas Story" all bundled up!!

Doing a lot of baking and doing my fall cleaning today...feel free to stop by and help...I'll let you taste test!!

NH you didn't go far enough south, this is mid south sounds like you want way down south.

Thanks all is well I just came back in - I did find an egg in the RIR house - Don't think they make that kind of sound when they lay but after dark I'm not sure.
When I heard her I would have bet another coon but no.
