ACK!!! I was supposed to move my eggs from my Reptipro to my hatcher to lock down today and while i was on the computer browsing BYC I thought i heard a peep. I turned around and looked and I had a baby peeper looking at me from the incubator window still sitting upright in its shell!

So I gabbed all the eggs super quick and moved them all to the waiting hatcher. I must have wrote the hatching date wrong. Lucky for the lil one, it seemed moist and had no trouble getting out even though I dry hatch in my reptipro and only add humidity in the hatcher. What have I done?

Fingers crossed for the other two that were pipped already when i moved them. I hope they hatch ok now that they are humidified and in the hatcher. I have 8 silkie eggs that i moved with them that are likely on the right hatch date due on Friday! Sheesh!

I like it when they get mean.....if you stick your hand in the pen and touch his hen he will go off on ya.....on some game fowl its easy to tell the breed line ........it helps alot if they are marked.....wing bands, toe marks and tatoos
a lot of times the wing band has a phone number on one side and id number on the other side.......you can then search the id number and tell which breeder line it comes from
I knew he was kelso when I saw him....just had to figure which line he came from then.....the sledge hammer line is one of the hardest hitting kelso line there is
I had him out yesterday and he flogged my hand ....almost broke my thumb he did...lol
Im gonna bred him to my sweater kelso hen....she has got spurs bigger than a lot of roosters youll see......gonna make some super fine chicks off em
thx again for him
