Wild.. Sorry for your dilemma, I agree with AB...ask tour feed store about the credit. Also save all your food scraps, feed back eggs you get and in a pinch dog or cat food.
You are the 3rd person this week that I have heard has fraudulent charges on the accounts.

NH... Since you will be recovering during your In-laws visit, you could ask MIL to cook. As a great way to help you.

This way you don't have to worry about it and FIL will eat what his wife makes.
Also... the "blueish/white" birds are Barred Rocks. The black and white are Silver Laced Wyandottes, the others are Easter Eggers.

So freezing rain this morning and the weatherman promises 70* tomorrow !! Crazy!!!!

VERY cool! I hope that they lay colors for you. My EE lays a very pretty - but brown - egg. I'm hoping to try again this spring for blue or green eggs.

NH...time to put your foot down. Blame it on pregnancy hormones. Actually, time to put hubbys foot down. HE can blame it on pregnancy hormones. That time is not convenient, as you want bonding time with your new baby, but X time or Y time or even Z time would work well and you'd love to see them then. Use those hormones, Girl!

Wild, I'm so sorry. I'm the same boat but thankfully by bank caught the fraudulent charges, I just am cardless until the new one gets mailed. UGH! Try soaking their feed in any extra milk, yogurt, water that you have around to make it swell and last longer. LOTS of food/kitchen scraps and feed them back their eggs.

Hollow, I'm sorry you haven't caught anything yet. My dad has traps up for whatever has been eating his at night and he hasn't caught anything either....he is bummed he hasn't even caught a chicken. LOL

I'll be doing a chick/teenager inventory tomorrow and I'll have LOTS for sale.

wild & doublea- something must be going on lately. just a few weeks ago i woke up on sunday morning to a call from our bank fraud department saying they had caught $800 in charges to a chinese website. they wanted to know if i did it. since i was asleep i knew they were fraudulent. they shut down my card before they even called. thankfully our bank gives us an immediate temporary credit while they investigate. this is the second time that the fraud department caught something for us.

Well they are young teens. I'm not going to even try to sex them. So if you are interested in straight run I'll let you know how many, if not, no big deal I'll put them online.
