[Coop Scoop Boogie]

I just did some chinese 5 color peppers and some red peppers no hot ones yet.. My cherry peppers gave me peppers till new years so I have enough pickled to last a life time

never heard of those..... are they hot and where do I find???
got a pic of them???

All the critters are fed and watered, the dogs ...and hubby... got a hot breakfast, and we made a Wal-mart run before all that. Today is cleaning and errands. Need to go to TSC and Petsmart. Too bad they don't open early.

I was trying this last week to make myself sleep in until 6:00, at least. It's not working. Oh well. I work better in the morning, anyway. And all the critters want out at dawn, anyway. But when I was younger, I could sleep half the day away. I think I'd like to try that again one day, maybe.

This is part of the burn we dealt with today. The red building about halfway to the road is a 20 foot wide chicken house. It came close. Photo was taken from closer to where it began. The wind shifted, and it went the other way, too, around the shop and nearly to the barn. Fire Department arrived quickly and got it out.

Hubby had started a fire in the fire pit to burn deadfall, at 6:00 this morning, but it was too wet to catch. He thought. Apparently something down deep caught and smoldered for hours, until the wind picked up around 1:30 this afternoon. We had a busy hour.

Howdy everyone! Got all but the gate done on the run today and have moved all the ladies out to the coop with the cornish x. The back porch is so pleasant now! Gotta still do some cleaning but it is wonderful having everyone out in the coop. Anybody got any great ideas on how to do a gate for a run? Going to have to come up with something by Saturday... it is suppose to be like 60 !!!! I am so looking forward to letting everyone out to roam in the run.
