Hatching question-- At some point do you just open the eggs and help the chicks out or just keep letting them go?

Today is Day 22, but all of them hatched yesterday and the day before. I have 3 more eggs rocking around a bit, but no pips. The rest have all been out in the brooder since yesterday. One I can hear chirping and have for the past 2 days but nothing. I'm starting to get worried they are stuck in there...

Whew! You guys have been busy! It's only been a few days since I've had a chance to catch up and I had a lot of reading to do.

How old do you let your chicks get before putting them in the "big girl" coop? I have 3 POLs in the coop and 5 in the grow out pen. I wanted to wait and move them all at the same time, the youngest ones are probably only 8-10 weeks old and the biggest teenager is sounding more like a hen and is starting to be more aggressive to the small birds. Suggestions?

Enjoy your weekend! It's going to be very pleasant!!!

Didn't get on yesterday, but we have

Eating and drinking today soooo cute. Mama is still sitting on eggs. Two are suppose to hatch this weekend, the others (5) next week. Do you think they have a chance? Going to use my flashlight tonight and see if I see something

I wonder if her sister will sit on them?

I didn't know how long to give the chicks in there to pip, but didn't want to disturb them if it was wrong.
Finally all the rocking and chirping completely stopped.
After an hour of nothing I opened the eggs.
I had 5 full developed beautiful little chicks stuck with their heads down in a weird position where they couldn't get them up.
All of them were dead.
They have been chirping all day calling out for help and I just left them in there and now all 5 are dead!

If they couldn't turn then there was something wrong with them. If you had helped, most likely, they would have not made it anyway.
