Totally floored me! Murphy does not love everyone like that. He's usually quite content to allow people to pet him. In fact, in his nearly 6 years, I have seen him bestow such affection on exactly two other non-family members. But he's a real good judge of character.Good morning folks![]()
nothing feels sweeter than being accepted by an animal......
we all bend down and call to any that we see and call to them
hoping for them to come to us and give us acceptance with the
sharing of a petting.......I got completely honored yesterday by
a wonderful dog.......not only did he let him pet and rub on him
but I got rewarded with a hug, kiss and he talked to me..........![]()
what more could a gal ask for![]()
hope everyone has a smooched day![]()

They say dogs are a real good judge of character and I have to agree.
I enjoyed your visit yesterday, you and RF and her Number 1 Son. Wish we could have visited longer, but hard when we're all so busy. We need to make it a point to have a bit of a gather in December. A potluck, perhaps? Whatcha think?
I'm always up to a together, specially with great friends! DS had a great time and the DD's were very mad to find out that they had missed going to your place.
I have a crazy question.....I was sold a "roo" cochin Mille Fluer....however, I have NEVER heard it crow and the other roos....ummmm....try to ride/mate with it. Certainly the roos know its a hen, correct? Would they try to mount a roo for dominance??
Yes they will, and if its a younger rooster in with older roosters, it may not crow for awhile so it don't get beat up by the other roosters.I have a crazy question.....I was sold a "roo" cochin Mille Fluer....however, I have NEVER heard it crow and the other roos....ummmm....try to ride/mate with it.
