Just read a load of forecasts for the next 2 days.
Depending on which you trust, this go around we are looking at 6-12+ inches.
This is supposed to be a heavy moist snow. That will may lead to power outages. Except for my TV/Computer addiction, I could care less. This house is heated by a woodstove and we have county water.
Yeah, I know after a day or 2 of walking through snow to feed/water/carry birds I will hate myself.

Good morning folks
I am sitting here waiting for the powers that be to
decide if there is going to be school today. Last night
I went to bed thinking that there would be school with
maybe an early release of 2 hours........looking at the
radar this morning I am not so sure the weather will hold
off that long.....let's see what those powers that be think.

Starlingdaly, so sorry about your girl. Losing a bird to a predator is bad enough, but when it's yours or family's, it's that much worse.

Who's great idea is it to call the house phone at 5am.... Just wanted to let you know the kids are off school, but we thought it'd be fun to wake them all up so you'd have an extra 2 hours of them running around the house to enjoy!

Someone said something about Mayberry days earlier. .... that is in Mt.Airy which is in the northwestern part of the state. I live in the same county.
