In the spirit of Spring....I'm offering a Chicken Processing Class in March.

Cost: $25

Are you ready to take that extra step to being self sufficient? Do you have a yard full of extra roosters? NDH is offering a class to learn how to humanely process chickens. We will go over hand plucking and skinning along with learning some of the differences in various meat bird breeds. Bring any extra roosters/chickens you have and we will instruct you how to process them for your own farm fresh poultry recipes. If you don't have your own birds to bring, we have a few of our own to process or there will be some available for you to purchase, process and take home. Please let me know ahead of time how many you will be bringing or how many you would like to purchase.

Please RSVP as soon as possible there are a limited number of spots available.

All knives, tools, and gloves will be provided for you to use. Please make sure you wear old comfortable clothing.

What to bring:
Extra Roosters/Chickens

Cooler full of ice(if you are bringing birds or take any home)
Bagged Lunch
Chair
