I felt that too in Mooresville. At the time I thought I was having a little head rush or a dizzy spell. Then this morning found out there was an earthquake. I remember feeling the same way about 2 years ago until my china cabinet started to rattle then realized it was an earthquake right away. It was very weird both times however.

Can't do any planting today because it's too wet...plus we didn't get to pick up starts due to the weather. Can't plant next weekend, as it's dog trial weekend and I will be Very Busy. But soon. As soon as we can.

Anyone plan on attending the Unifour chickens show on March 1? Also what is this chicken stock I have been hearing about? I would also like to meet some West NC folks as I live very close to Boone NC and can be in Linville NC in around 45 minutes. Might find someone to buy something exotic from to go with my future SFH.

Looking at eggs on ebay, there is a surprising number of EMU eggs!!!!
I wonder if Fayetteville allows them to count towards your 10 backyard poultry

Looking at eggs on ebay, there is a surprising number of EMU eggs!!!!
I wonder if Fayetteville allows them to count towards your 10 backyard poultry

pretty eggs but I would not want an emu.....they take A LOT of
space and can be nippy from what I have been told......use the eggs
for crafts or something....they aren't easy to hatch.

Oh I don't really want an emu or an ostrich or anything along those lines.
I'm a tall girl, I can't handle a bird that's bigger than me!
We were at Jambba's Ranch a couple years ago, can't remember if it was an emu or an ostrich, but my son was feeding it & it bit his hand. Definitely not the friendliest things!

Crafts are a good idea never thought of that! Though the price they're going for on ebay, it'd be an awfully expensive craft!

a couple years ago, I think, some went through WCA and
if I remember right they went around $15-$20........but I could
be very wrong on that.
