yea I had put two towels doubled up over it don't worry I don't open it to check temp the therm is on top the eggs under the veiwing glass ;) luckily my staggared hatch just ended or it would be a different story and they're all in the brooder out in the building and it stays pretty warm in there too so they should be fine

Last Day!!!!!!! I love my bus kids and I love my job but
I am SO ready for some rest. I don't do much hatching here
.... I usually let BHep incubate for me since I am hatching
challenged but with so many hens going broody we put some
turkey eggs under them to keep them happy and busy. We
have never had this many hens go broody!!!! The breeds
we have are not noted to be that broody but it seems to be
the year to have broodies. At this rate we are going to be up
neck in turkeys.
