This sounds neat, I'll have to find one nearbyish. Is there a specific show season or does it go year round?

Morganton is this coming weekend. Smithfield is Dec 13. Smithfield will also be having a spring show in March. MattNC knows more about the shows.

It appears that the show in Cape fear is closest to me at 1.5 hrs away. ... is there a show site you all use to find shows in our area?

My 2 Dominiques are not very good.  But I also had the 2 Buckeyes, and 5 silkies.  I'm waiting for my NPIP / AI testing to be rescheduled before I go out of SC.  So if I have the testing before then I may go to Cape fear.  Next month will be Anderson (Clemson) and Dec 6th Sandlappers (at Barnwell, SC).

I plan on going to the cape fear shoe on dec. 13th. Im gonna see if i can get some coshins or bantams in an auction. My main goal is to get a pair or trio to start my exhibition lines. Hopefully ill have some luck there. I have 4 breeds im thinking about.

to help out I will be clerking at the show but as soon as the judging
is done I will be thrilled to meet folks. Joining the club does not mean
members have to show, they welcome all chicken lovers. There are
some very knowledgeable folks in these different clubs and at these
shows. Hope to see lots of our BYC family there.
