Hi to those in Randleman!

So woke up this morning to find the winds last night ripped a barn door off and half the roofing off the barn. My coop is 2 stalls of the barn converted into chook homes, so now, with hubs out of town for the week, I've got to figure out how to fix the door and roof before this snow comes. Sigh! I'm going to need a LOT more coffee this morning!

Oh that's terrible!! It's a cold day to be doing repairs!! I'm not to far from you in Archdale :)

Just a hop, skip, and a jump away from me in Randleman! Hello over there!

As for what I'm hatching... just had a variety clutch of Silkie/Frizzle/Faverolles combinations to hatch last week. My hens have been insisting on brooding ALL. WINTER. LONG. 6_9 Those girls drive me crazy!

I would love to add a few frizzles to my flock this summer, so I may be chatting with you later about some swaps. Are you having fun with the fuzzy butts? :p

I've been scouring the listings on CL and haven't found what i thought i had seen.  I must have found them here on the BYC BST listings.  hmmmm.

I do have a friend that has a couple of wheaten Americanas that she got from the Poultry man down in Fayetteville though.  She doesn't have fertile eggs cause she only has hens.

Maybe try the poultry guy out there?

Hi Claudia,

You were right... I remembered seeing the ad too!

I may be down that way, so if anyone is interested and wants me to pick some up I can meet in the triad area.

So sorry! No damage here...just a lot of twigs and small branches on the ground. I heard that some folks lost electricity.

I can be persuaded to get a dozen. When do you plan to head that way? Cause my incubators are full right now.

It would probably be a few weeks, maybe early March?
I sent an email asking to see pics of the eggs so I can get more info when they respond. I'm assuming they are not true Americaunas/Ameraucanas but for my back yard purposes I am well OK with EEs.
