Rain....MUD !

And kids went to school.

Same here. My neighbor has a lake for a backyard, so I am grateful I have better drainage but it's still YUCKY!

I've been saying that I wanted one good snow and then I'd be ready for spring. We got 4 inches in western Catawba county, I've made my snow cream, so this counts as a good one. After I enjoy this, spring can come any time!

We have been getting a mix here so far. The chickens don't like it very much. The easter eggers are a bit more adventurous than the rest.

Here they are exploring yesterday's snow.

I was leaving the Moore Co. Ag center in Carthage last night at 8 and boy did they have the prettiest, biggest, fluffiest snow flakes falling. It was gorgeous! And then I get home to Cameron and its rain, rain, rain.... oh! and more rain. We didn't get NOTHING, at least none of that good pretty stuff.

Good morning everyone....its beautiful outside and I'm watching the birds on my feeders. I have at least 3 sets of cardinals who come frequently.

I don't have any feeders and lately large numbers of cardinals have been flocking all over my backyard. it must be the chicken feed.
