hey everyone! i havent been on in a while...but ive sold lots of chickens.
im wanting to make room for a new serama pen bum in so confused with what NC is letting us do in regards to the avian flu....can i get birds and order some more layers from a hatchery?

That's the funny part, a person can still sell or buy birds on personal property and all. One can even take/ bring birds from across state lines.

You can still order from hatcheries.

What they want to avoid is lots of chickens from many different owners coming together in one place, where an infected chicken from one farm could infect chickens from dozens of different farms, which are then taken back to their flocks to infect them too... So you won't be able to buy from swaps, auctions, or shows.
