Anyone interested in starting up a local Hatching Egg exchange message me and we can review what we have to offer each other. I am located in Salisbury NC. I always have extra hatching eggs and always looking to hatch something new. Mail ordering hatching eggs hasn't been the best experience in my life.

More rain, its getting wetter, flooding is encroaching on pens and runs, Dust bathing areas have standing water. Hey the plants in my Nursery love it! Chickens not happy at all though. We need a drought!

Can't blame the chickens for not being happy, their free range area has been greatly reduced by flooding. The ones in the pens do not have it much better. they have soaking wet leaves and straw and when they scratch it they make a puddle of nasty water. Going to be a fun clean up.
 
Floods gone, puddles sorta dried up, but if I step where their used to be a puddle I sink down 6 inches and a puddle forms where I stepped. 9 straight days of wearing my heavy rubber boots, But the chickens are having a blast with all the worms near the surface. At least they are happy now.
