Mount Pleasant/Concord Here and good friends with NC chicken man and tplummer, and they dont even know each other. NC chicken man was my mentor for my senior project last year. This man pretty much got me into chickens. My only hen that money cant buy come from him.

I’m in Gastonia and if there are local crazy chicken people meetings I want in!

Hey guys! Davidson County here and new to this whole BYC thing. I'm still in the process of building my coop and hope to get some Black Australorps for my first flock. Does anyone close by have any? And if so, where did you get them? Thanks for all the feedback. I need all the help I can get!!

I would be interested in seeing if anyone had experience with this hatchery as well. I usually have my eggs shipped and a local hatchery would probably have better outcome due to the limited number of hands the package would go through.

My hope is to meet them (i know not at their farm, but avoid shipping) I truly wouldn't mind even a 3-4 hour drive to any smaller hatchery to pick up my chicks and avoid the drive all together.

Also if there is anyone that breeds Wheaton Ameraucana Chickens in NC I would love to talk with you. It's a breed I am very interested in.
