I know you told me to be patient, HT, but just curious if there are any more guesses about the sex of these Black/Lav split Orps! They are SO PRETTY now and I just want to know so bad!!!

I've been trying to not get too attached until all the boys are sorted out and whatnot, but that gets harder every day. I'm ready to give them names and know they're part of the family! Here they are...

More pics to come of others, too. I always appreciate your feedback! Thanks!!!

OK, here's the one I'm the most worried about being a boy. My remaining Blue Laced Red Wyandotte. Any chance (s)he's a girl???? Can be seen in the last pic in the post above, too.

And just for fun my little guys - 3 blue Ameraucanas (thinking 1 girl, 2 boys if anyone's interested!), 1 Cochin, and 1 EE!

Welcome to all new folks, and hi to our friends on here, have not posted much this week - DW - Allison managed to get a gastric virus, spent 2 days at home sick then Wed night ended up at 1. Urgent Care and then 2. Presby Hospital Matthews, where she was treated for severe dehydration and given some medication for the virus. We got home @ 7am Thursday! Luckily I have not gone down with the virus!

On a more happier note - we picked our first squash this week, have cucumbers and tomatoes growing, and the late planted corn is growing quick!

Coyote, If your roo is a Bantam, I could give him a new home. We are in western Lincoln County, near Cherryville.

BLRW = roo

Black LRW Thinking pullet. Legs seem to be thinner then the roo.

MY Wyandottes are driving me mad with waiting for saddle feathers they mature so much more slowly then some others.

Is anyone near Winston or Greensboro? I'm in Kernersville, and I can't find anywhere to get Corid. My worst cocci chick probably will not survive the night, and I'm trying desperately to find Corid for the 3 she was bought along with.
