My chick is cooking away inside the shell steadily making the hole bigger. I've come to the conclusion that being born, be it live birth or hatching, is exhausting work! She deserves a nice rest aftervall this!

Evening all! Been a crazy week getting ready for chickenstock, then actually having it. Only to come home and realize that our fair is this week and needed to get everything that I am entering in order and there by today!!

Managed to get all the canned goods in order, eggs gathered, antiques dug out and all breads/goodies made but two (next year). All toll I entered 13 items in our local fair this year. Judging starts tomorrow morning at 9

but I won't find out how I did till Thursday as we will go up that night (kids get in free

).

Managed to do a mini photo shoot with a few or the birds this evening so I thought I would share.
